These special coffee beans are from only one plantation, located in Alto La Meseta, a 1000m peak in the Sierra Maestra, south eastern Cuba. The area is part of the Turquino National Park which was once famous for hosting more than 60 plantations in the hey day of Cuban coffe production before the Revolution because of its ideal location. Due to its high altitude and forest coverage, the coffee plants can grow perfectly, shadowed by tropical trees.

Montecristo  is 100% Arabica organic coffee, which comes roasted and grounded in a sealed tin to keep in all its aroma.
